About Our Law Firm
Mr. Daniel E. Murphy originally established the law practice in 1996 as Murphy & Murphy. Murphy Stoner was formed in early 2021. Mssrs. Murphy and Stoner have worked together as attorneys in the law practice since 2007. While the Murphy Stoner firm is located in the historic Monadnock Building in the south Loop area of the city of Chicago, the firm represents many clients throughout Chicagoland, including the counties surrounding Chicago.

Partner
Daniel E. Murphy has successfully tried numerous jury cases within the Chicagoland region, and represents client in arbitration proceedings, trials and appeals. He aggressively pursues regular client contact, and maintains this focus throughout litigation.
Mr. Murphy is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Risk and Insurance. He graduated from Marquette University Law School and was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in 1985. In 1988, he was admitted to the State Bar of Illinois.

Justin Stoner
Partner
Justin S. Stoner has substantial experience litigating matters from intake through trial or hearing. He promptly responds to client inquiries and provides professional guidance to clients through each step of the litigation process.
Mr. Stoner is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. He graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 2007. Mr. Stoner was admitted to the State Bar of Illinois in 2007.
